I normally take my coffee black, but today, I’ve added a teaspoon of creamer. What’s your favorite beverage and how do you take it?
I’m glad we get to do this, catch up weekly, and talk shop.
How was your week?
What small step or leap of progress did you make?
What did you learn?
It feels like I’ve unlocked a new level in my illustration journey, and that is working with the marketing departments of a couple of publishers, to help promote books I’ve illustrated. This is the main thing we’ll be talking about after the paywall.
But before we go there, I’m leaving everyone with another sketchbook prompt.

ps: You might remember that I’m editing and organizing my previous 500 posts about my illustration journey, I’m putting them all in this new tab called the Illustration Blog. I will continue to add archived and new posts to the blog, but I won’t be emailing those out. It’s more for if you want to search for a topic.
Alright, I’m going to the paid subscribers now. We’re talking about the illustrator’s role in promoting a book. And I’ll be hoping to get their thoughts on the subject too. You’re all invited!
