Hi,
It’s 10 pm.
And I’m just stepping into my studio. That means the maximum studio time I could get today is 2 hours.
That is a first for me.
I normally spend 10 - 15 hours a day in the studio.
I spend 30 minutes-ish with the family for lunch.
And I spend at least 4 hours with the family (4pm-8pm)
What is the studio?
It’s a 60 sq feet at the back of the apartment.
There’s an attached bathroom, that feels like it was designed to be put in an airplane.
In fact, I like to think of my studio as one of 2 things. 2 Mindsets.
The first-class cabin on an airplane.
A New York/ London apartment.
Both are small and transient.
The New York / London apartment because it puts you in the heart of the action it puts you in the mindset to appreciate every connection because you’re sacrificing a lot for that connection.
The airplane cabin because all your needs are taken care of at any time and within the confines of the space you can work on anything without interruptions with whatever you have with you.
