On Being a Pro
I listened to Wendy Mac’s Tedtalk (
) yesterday. She cited some research that said that drawing is the best way to process emotions.I have unspoken rules in my writing and on social media.
Don’t whine. Don’t complain. Don’t Rant.
Nobody wants to hear it.
Now I’m a pretty upbeat guy, but I have things to whine and complain and rant about. I just process them in my drawings.
Don’t whine. Don’t complain. Don’t Rant
Those are some great rules, l sort of do the same. I don't draw if I am angry.
I’m loving the daily newsletter. I don’t know how you find the time to do all that you do and it’s extremely inspiring. I love the detail in the insights you provide, whether it’s about what worked for you or your art process or your conversation with a more seasoned professional. The notes are all genuine and very helpful. Thank you Adam!
