Deadlines are normally dreaded.
But as Jerry Seinfield says, our brains are like little puppies that respond to treats.
So here’s how I plan to do it.
Build some capital.
Whenever I hit a deadline, I’ll pay myself imediately as a reward. (good puppy)
With a little planning and creativity, you can de-couple when clients pay you and when you pay yourself. Giving yourself that positive reinforcment everytime you hit a deadlines.
And you can pay yourself whenever you hit a client deadline, or a personal deadline.
PS: pay yourself doesn’t mean empty the bank, it means allocaating a portion from the ‘business account’ to your ‘personal account’.
