To do creative work, you need creative energy.
There is physical energy, spiritual energy, emotional energy and mental energy.
When all these four types of energy are at a level of 6-7 out of 10, Creative energy comes on. Creative energy is the synergy of the four.
If your levels are below the mark there are things you can do to raise your energy.
Journaling raises my mental and spiritual energy.
Making something to share on social raises me Emotional energy.
Some exercises and food activates my physical energy.
Sometimes in spite all the effort to reach the levels of creative energy, I can’t get there.
I might skip the creative work and do some chores instead, get a good nights sleep and try again tomorrow.
People who make are are those who know how to get their energy levels high enough to switch on creative energy.
This is not any kind of science, just how I experience creative energy. And how I go about building it up.
So I can spend the energy doing creative work.
Do you see it differently? Or are you inclined to agree?
Creative energy
I love how straightforward this is, because sometimes we romanticize the idea of creativity when a lot of it is just practical. We fill up by doing certain things. We empty by doing certain things. It makes creativity feel achievable for everyone (which I believe it is).
