On Starting and Continuing
Yesterday I kick started my Routine, starting with an Evening Routine. Most importantly I got comfortably in bed and a good night’s sleep.

Now, I didn’t get my whole morning routine going but I got some of the essentials.
Woke up at 4am and was in the studio 5 minutes later.
Ate a protein bar (hunger makes you crazy and not the good kind)
Made coffee (still decaf, I’m easing in)
Spend random internet time for 40 minutes, before…
Starting work on a project.
I only worked on it for 90 minutes, before I went out to have breakfast with my Family from out of town. But, Starting really helped, because then in the the afternoon when I could continue working, instead of start working, which is a BIG difference in the afternoon.
⭐️ Starting is really hard. But it’s easier with coffee, a good night’s sleep behind you, a protein bar, some unstructured time to check your messages and count your likes. (I got 5)
Hemingway reportedly had a method of ending his writing day in mid sentence. This way he would not need to start again tomorrow, merely continue.
