$2 Notebooks (Moleskine-like)
On Pragmatism and Creativity
Be Pragmatic.
I saw a letter sized notebook and a pocked sized sketchbook made by a Japanese manufacturer they look and felt like Moleskines, they were selling at $2 a piece. I bought 6 of each. Basically cleared the shelves.
My fountain pen bleed through the paper, so I bought a ball pen, it was too thin for me to express myself on the page so I used a pencil. And it’s working really well now.
I’ve not written with a pencil in 30+ years, but that doesn’t mean I can’t use one now.
When you seem to have limited options. Tell yourself; “Be Pragmatic” and watch how new options reveal themselves to you.
What’s the difference between creativity and pragmatism? I’ll leave that for you to answer for yourselves!
