101: Notes from a 7 week Sprint.
I just finished a 7 week work sprint. During which time I created 5 intense pieces of work for various clients.
A sprint is a locked down season of work where no new work can be added. For the most part if anything is not relevant to the sprint, I park it till later.
This is the first time I’ve done such a long sprint, normally I plan for a week or two or take things day by day.
But for this sprint, I knew I needed to get everything done by today, so I made a plan where everything had a place and just kept working on it.
During a sprint like this, I relied a lot on work I’ve done in the past, prep work if you like. A lot of the work I accomplished in the 7 week period was only possible because of the work I’ve been doing daily for the 2-3 years prior. “Training”
I’m taking a breath, before I plan the next work sprint. And going to have a think about how to incorporate more training into my work week.

Training is something you can rely on during crunch time!
