This newsletter started as a place for me to answer questions that I was getting asked repeatedly. Questions like: How did you get an agent
Now, I need to ask you a question and it’s really important, I need your help to pick a second category for this newsletter.
Substack lets you choose 2 categories, I’ve picked “Art and illustration: as the primary category. And based on your suggestions I want to choose a second.
I feel the intersection of categories really affect who discovers the newsletter, but it also will effect the shape of the content I make, so I really want you to have your say.
Look through the list below and help me pick a secondary category, I will honor your choice and keep that category for the next 300 posts. Just like when I invited you to connect, this is one way I can involve you in the evolution of this newsletter.
I hope you’ll take this opportunity to shape our shared space. Thank you!
Write the category as a comment, and if you like offer some context or reasons.
081: Choose A Category.
Business! And because you already added Art and illustration, people will know that is about the business in this industry. I love to read about how you deal with your work/routine. How you deal Will everything. This is totally business!
I never comment here, but I really enjoy reading your newsletters. (a Hi from Brazil!)
I would choose business - but only because there is no "community" category.
Philosophy is not far, but too general. For me something like community or maybe personal growth or Idea school would fit. Business somehow is a cold word for your warm letters - but in fact they are a lot about entering the illustration business and striving as a professional, aren't they?
