Of all the ‘newsletters’ I subscribe to yours is the most thoughtful and thought provoking. You aren’t just sharing how you work but taking a step back to show how you arrived at the decision to work that way. Keep doing what you are doing! It works really well

I really enjoy and look forward to your daily thoughts. It’s one way I organize my day. Particularly because it gets me moving on a creative path. I enjoy looking at your workspace, hearing about your creative flow, and learning about how you approach your work and creative quandaries. Thanks for the work you do to share your journey. I appreciate it.

I really enjoy your daily thoughts and they arrive at a perfect time early in the day. Sometimes I worry that you push a bit too hard, and might burn out, though clearly it is proving very successful! Perhaps that's also more because I've done a lot of the hard push and am trying to tone it down now in this second career, that I want to keep me interested and comfortable into my old age (eyes and hands willing).

My year is going great. I have had a good mixture of illustration and (non-creative) publishing work, which gives a good balance. I have also got a good feel for how I could balance once the illustration gets closer to full time, which I think would mean breaking days into chunks of different types of work (rough sketches and research in the morning), admin, marketing or file formatting in the afternoon and colour in evenings and early mornings.

Mostly I'm working towards my big trip that starts on three weeks - five weeks interrailing round Europe, to include walking the Bologna Book Fair. I'm looking forward to getting a huge amount of inspiration, but also lots of 100% me time!

Hi Adam, just thought this was a good opportunity to say, I really enjoy your daily posts! Just the right length and a thought-provoking, inspiring start to the day. My year has been BUSY and I am looking forward to finishing a picture book and doing more community art projects… thanks for your newsletters :)

Hey , I just joined Substack a couple of weeks ago and have been enjoying your dailies in my inbox. Thank you!!

I have a live daily on YouTube so I don’t think I could add a daily newsletter... but I have managed a couple of posts on mine since starting.

Wishing you a delightful Sunday!
