I definitely was thinking about this very thing! I ended 2022 taking those little steps and making progress and was certain that 2023 would continue with that but it’s been a very difficult start, with my love for illustration being really dampened by social media. I’m interested in the “job” of illustration and want social media to be only peripheral. Ill be thinking of ways to make it so. Thanks Adam, definitely timely!

as i sit here at 11:30pm exhausted from dealing with my toddlers being sick for the last couple of days. and thinking that i haven’t even started to check off the endless to-dos i promised myself i would tackle this week. i-- i’ve been wrestling with feeling aimless. or maybe i’m just trying to stay above water. i don’t know. i guess my point is... i needed to read this tonight. little steps. thanks adam!

It’s hard to trust those little steps when you feel so far away but they really do add up!

Such a great post, Alex! I'm so glad to have been able to take an unscheduled opportunity today to take some steps that I've been needing to take - so your post is very timely! 😀

Little steps absolutely!

Can I ask, how do you schedule your day when working on different books? I always think of 'flow' and this is something that I always struggle with!

Truly enjoyed this letter format, especially the part where the path excludes social media

Needed this post! I'm really struggling with direction and feel like I'm having one of those "what on earth am I doing?" moments... I always let January go slowly but then have noticed the panic sets in as February approaches. Any tips welcome! Peace and love ✨
