Gratitude is perceiving and appreciating the positive aspects of life. Often we put our attention on things we have not done, do not have, our fears or uncertainties… the ungrateful person is always asking “What else? What’s next?” and is left feeling anxious, negative, and isolated. Whereas a grateful person focuses on the positive. Grateful people ask themselves “what’s now?” They appreciate the good things around them, and reframe challenging moments into a positive experience. - Wendy Mac(

Gratitude pulls your attention to the only thing we will ever really have, this very moment. In my family we have a ritual of giving thanks for food.
What if we could think of each moment or season as food. In Gratitude consuming it in pleasure, every last tasty morsel of it. Absorbing all the good we possibly can and letting go of what’s not useful.
Close the Gap
Know that just as the steps you walked got you here. The steps you take from here, will get you where you want to go.
But for now, Be thankful for where you are in your journey. Ask ‘what’s now?’, and savour it.
